Life sucks and stuff happens. When that stuff does happen and we don't know what to do. who do we turn to? We turn to our good old friend Google, where everyone's advice is available for the world to see. Advice that we all need for the situation we are in.
In some cases we might....I don't know.......say drop our phone in water? or a toilet? or a sink? or a puddle? Whatever the case might be, most of the articles on Google tell you to put it in rice. What if I were to tell you, with my 5 years of experience, when you put your phone in rice you are just making it worse?! Let me explain, YES rice does absorb water! However, what happens to rice once it absorbs water and sits for a couple days? It starts to MOLD! Now think of whats going to happen to the inside of your phone now that it has all those rice minerals in it with all the water its absorbed?. At this point you must be saying, "damn well what can I do to absorb the water from my phone" Let me tell you 3 DIFFERENT things you can do! 1: Silica Gel is great because you can find it at your closest Walmart store! silica gel are these little beads that absorb water like nobodies business. Please get the non-toxic beads. WARNING! do not eat & keep away from kids. 2: Cat / Kitty litter works great! It absorbs water and leaves a little bit of a residue behind but its like dust and can be blown out. 3: The sun. You must be like "how can the sun get rid of the water in my phone?" Well, If you leave the phone by the window on a nice warm summer day, your phone will get warm enough to evaporate the water in the phone. Yes water evaporates upwards and it will stick to the metal or plastic cover inside the phone that is shielding your screen ( depending on the device that is ) Now to sum up everything, DON'T PUT YOUR PHONE IN RICE. Take your phone to a repair specialist right away! If you are the type of person who like to DIY and try stuff at home well options 1, 2, & 3 are your best friend!

The waterproof, no headphone jack, iphone 7 & 7 plus was released on September 16th. Apple has decided to get rid of 16GB phones completely. Which in my opinion is great because now they only offer 36GB, 128GB, 256GB. however, Jet black is only offered in 128GB and 256GB.
Iphone 7 features
Some of these features have already been presented or even out performed in other phone however, iPhone lover will go crazy for the water "resistant" feature as well as the longer battery life. In my opinion people are not ready for no headphone jack. In this generation, where AUX cables have turned into a need. Not just at home but in cars. A phone without a headphone jack is going to make a music lover go crazy, also make car rides with parents really quiet and silent. In conclusion, the new iPhone and the features it offers are great for iPhone lovers, however they have made a risky leap in removing headphone jacks which will push away some of their target market and existing customers. Apple has announced their new iPhone SE to be the same size as the 5s with the features & operating system of the 6/6s as well as the 6+/6s+. This phone will have a better battery life, new microphones as well as Apple pay support. This phone will be sold at a very low cost compared to other Apple products. The SE is said to start at $399.00 for the 16GB up to $499.00 for the 64GB. Most of us know Apple for its expensive but quality products. Is apple finally giving up the high profit margins and cutting it in half to produce more products at an affordable rate? I think that Apple is finally doing what Samsung & LG have been doing for many years. Offering a quality product for an affordable price that doesn't cost over $500. The SE is said to drop in 100 countries by the end of May. This is something never seen before from apple because, now apple can offer the iPhone SE to developing countries that can now afford an iPhone. The developing countries is dominated by android users but Apple is bound to grow in those areas where all other Apple products are not affordable.
